Stems 15-30 cm, hirsute-villous below. Lowest leaves inequifoliolate with 1-3 leaflets. Calyx purple at apex; corolla red. • S. & E. Spain, at low altitudes. Hs.
Some specimens resemble subsp. (n), which is absent from mainland Spain.
