Diagnosis. fPp = N/N/BNN; Pc = 3; Gn = 2; fSc: PL> AM> AL; PL/SB; fCx = 1.1.1; fSt = 2.2; fD = 2H-8-6-6-4- 4-2; DS = 28–33; VS = 24–30; NDV = 52–63; Ip = 750; AW 68–80, PW 78–88, SB 30–38, ASB 25–30, PSB 15– 18, SD 45 (in original description erroneously 25–30), AP 23–28, AM 40–45, AL 33–43, PL 50–53, S 54–71, H 46–54, D min 39, D max 48, V min 24, V max 31, pa 235, pm 247, pp 268.

Type material (not examined). Holotype and 10 paratypes larvae from Cricetulus kamensis (Satunin) , Ochotona erythrotis (Büchner) , and Ochotona gloveri Thomas , CHINA: Qinghai Province, Yushu Tibetan

Autonomous Prefecture. Type series is deposited in Qinghai Institute for Endemic Disease Control and Research, Xining, China ( Wu, Yang & Li 1999) .

Etymology. The species epithet “ ushi ” is an anagram of “ hsui ”.

Remarks. I propose here the name L. ushi to replace the junior homonym L. hsui Wu, Yang and Li, 1999 .
