Type: — CHINA. Guizhou: Mt. Fanjing, 450 m, November 1985, Sino-British Plant Expedition, no. 0197 (holotype K!).

Heterotypic synonyms: — Anoectochilus moulmeinensis auct. non ( C. S. P. Parish & Rchb.f.) Seidenfaden ( Jin et al. 2009: 78, Zhao et al. 2013: 56); Rhomboda moulmeinensis auct. non ( C. S. P. Parish & Rchb.f.) Ormerod ( Xu et al. 2010: 68–69).

Flowering: —August–November.

Habitat: —Under damp forests or along valleys, 400–2200 m.
