Description. Male. Body medium sized. Vertex of head divided into conical tubercles. Legs elongate and slender; fore femora about 1.6 times as long as the pronotum, ventrally unarmed, internal genicular lobe with a small spine, external genicular lobe with 1 elongate movable spur; fore tibiae ventrally with 2 external and 2 internal spurs. Mid femora with an elongate movable spur on the internal and genicular lobe, ventrally unarmed; mid tibiae ventrally with 2 external and 1 internal spur(s). Hind femora ventrally with 3–4 inter spines and without outer spines; hind tibiae dorsally with 48–54 outer and inner spines respectively, arranged in groups; super internal spur exceeding the dorso-apical spine of metatarsus. Hind metatarsus keeled ventrally. Epiphallus of male genitalia with the upper end truncated, lateral lobes of male genitalia long and narrow ( Figs. 26–27 View FIGURES 26–28 ).

Female. Subgenital plate with hind margin slightly notched ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 26–28 ). Ovipositor shorter than the half the length of hind femur.

Coloration. Body dark brown. Face with 4 dark longitudinal stripes. Fore and mid legs brown with dark annular stripes, hind femora with dark irregular stripes.

Measurements. (length in mm) Body ♂ 13.0–14.0, ♀ 12.0–14.0; pronotum ♂ 6.0, ♀ 6.0–6.5; fore femora ♂ 9.5, ♀ 9.5–10.0; hind femora ♂ 19.0–21.0, ♀ 19.0–21.0; ovipositor 7.0.

Material examined. Holotype, 1♂, Fushoushan natural reserve, Hunan, 2016-IX-18 ~26, collected by Jiang et al. ; paratype, 3♀♀, same data as the holotype .

Distribution. China (Hunan).

Diagnosis. This species is rather similar to T. (T.) yanlingensis sp. nov., but differs from the latter in that: hind tibiae above with 48–54 spines on each side; epiphallus of male genitalia with upper end truncated ( Figs. 26–27 View FIGURES 26–28 ); female subgenital plate with hind margin shallowly notched ( Fig. 28 View FIGURES 26–28 ).

Etymology. The specific epithet refers to the apical incision of the hind margin of the subgenital plate.
