Type: —BORNEO. Sin. loc., sin. dat. (♂), Korthals s.n. (lectotype L [L0001448], designated here; probable isolectotype L [L0057539]).
Notes: —Although Korthals (1851) cited only a single locality (‘montem Pamatton’) in the protologue, there are two L sheets from Borneo without locality details labelled as types. Consistent with the protologue, both specimens possess staminate flowers. Hence, one of the sheets is here selected as lectotype.
