Diagnosis. Palps not more than 4 times longer than wide. Antero-lateral setae few in number (7–30 pairs) and arranged in two distinct clusters on each side of idiosomal dorsum: anterior and lateral. Setae dm1 tapered. Setae dm3 present. Peripheral setae in medial part of idiosomal dorsum absent. Peripheral setae in lateral parts of idiosomal dorsum: filiform, apically expanded or paddle-shaped, and arranged in 1 row. Four pairs of genital setae g1–g4 present. Pseudanal series with 5–10 pairs of filiform, apically expanded or paddle-shaped setae.

Distribution. These species are found in the Palearctic ecozone.
Host range. This group is associated with agamid lizards of the genera Acanthocercus , Laudakia , Paralaudakia , Phrynocephalus , Pseudotrapelus , Stellagama and Trapelus (Agamidae) .
