Absconditus gen. nov. (ĎẌƦø)
Type species: Absconditus acerus sp. nov. (KḰĎẌƦ)
Etymology. The genus name comes from the Latin adjective “ Absconditus ”, meaning “hidden” and referring to the radix almost completely hidden in the distal suprategular apophysis in male palp. Gender is masculine.
Diagnosis. Absconditus gen. nov. can be distinguished from any other Erigoninae genera by distal suprategular apophysis robust with a projection extending posteriorly, radix relatively small, round and almost hidden in the distal tegular apophysis in undisected palp ( Figs 1A–C View FIGURE 1 , 2A–G View FIGURE 2 ). Epigynal palte wider than long, with a median septum narrowing posteriorly ( Fig. 3A, B View FIGURE 3 ), copulatory openings present anteriorly beneath the septum ( Fig. 3A, B View FIGURE 3 ). Copulatory ducts S-shaped, spermathecae pointing towards dorso-mesally ( Fig. 3C View FIGURE 3 ).
