Type species. Andiorrhinus salvadorii Cognetti, 1908
Diagnosis. Setae eight per segment; intraclitellar male pores; calciferous glands three pairs in 7–9 of lamellar structure; testes in 10 and 11 within testis sacs; seminal vesicles, two pairs restricted to 11 and 12; ovaries in XIII; spermathecae in pre-testicular segments. Number of species: 40. Distribution: Venezuela (18), Brazil (16), Colombia (3), Bolivia (1), Guyana (1), Paraguay (1).
