Cyrtopsis View in CoL t-sigillata: Liu, Zhou & Bi, 2010, Insects of Fengyangshan National Nature Reserve, 78; Song, Du & Shi, 2015, Zootaxa, 3986(2), 238.

PICTURE 1. Cyrtopsis View in CoL t-sigillata Liu, Zhou & Bi, 2010. Left lateral view of male in habitat.

Description. (Male) (firstly described) Body larger and stouter of brachypterous type. Fastigium of vertex conical and short, blunt at apex and furrowed dorsally; compound eyes relatively small and long ellipsoidal, anteriorly convex. Metazona longer than prozona, spherically inflated, paranota deep, posterior edge slightly convex, humeral sinus absent. Tegmina short, but partly concealed by metazona, hind wings absent. Each femur unarmed, spine of genicular lobe absent; ventral spines of fore tibiae in type of 4, 4 (1, 1), hind tibiae each with 25–29 dorsal teeth either margin above and 2 pairs of apical spurs. 9th abdominal tergite expanded at posterior lateral angle, 10th abdominal tergite short, center of posterior margin protruding a considerably large process, vertically downward,

5 6 8 10 FIGURES 4–12 View FIGURES 4 – 12 . (Continued) with a distinct and an inconspicuous projection roughly like a cockscomb in lateral view, but longitudinally divided in middle, ventral margin expanded, apical part lobate and separate aside, cerci short and incurved, base inflated and tapered apically, but apex almost truncate, with a dorsal and a ventral blunt angle; titillator sclerotized and specialized; base wide and narrowing to apex, apical third with ventral margin expanded and dorsal margin denticulate; subgenital plate broad, almost trapezoidal, gently up curved, posterior margin little convex, styli short and decurved at lateral angle.

(Female) Tegmina short, completely concealed and not interlaced. Each posterior lateral angle of 8th abdominal tergite becoming a hook. Hind lateral angles of 9th abdominal tergite extended posteriorly; hind margin of 10th abdominal tergite convex in middle third, dorsum with a short median sulcus; epiproct roundly triangular; cerci short and conical, base stout, apical third suddenly narrow and pointed; subgenital plate small, transverse and almost semicircular, swollen ventrally, hind margin nearly truncate; ovipositor short and broad, distinctly up curved, dorsal margin feebly denticulate at middle third, ventral margin smooth without apical hook.

Coloration. Body yellowish brown, emerald green while alive. Dorsum of vertex with a marking resembling the letter ‘T’. A longitudinal brown band throughout disc of pronotum, expanded and inlays black stripes marginally at metazona, each outside of the band with a yellowish edge; knees of hind femora dark brown. Abdomen with a brown band in dorsum, both sides of the band in 8–10 segments with dark brown markings; process of 10th abdominal tergite brown with ventral margin of base darkish, base of cerci pale brown and apex dark brown; ovipositor largely brown.

Measurements (in mm). Body ♂ 14.9, ♀ 12.5; pronotum ♂ 7.1, ♀ 5.0; tegmina ♂ 3.5, ♀ 1.8; hind femora ♂ 13.5, ♀ 12.5; ovipositor 7.0.

Materials. Holotype ♀, Fengyang Mountain, Longquan, Zhejiang, 1500–1900m, 2008. VII.31–VIII.2, leg. LIU Xian-Wei & BI Wen-Xuan; 1♂, Fengyang Mountain, Longquan, Zhejiang, 1440m, 2015. VI.30, leg. WANG Han-Qiang.

Discussion. Recently, we captured 1 male specimen at the same site where the type specimen was found. Song et al. (2005) reported the male of this species but the male and the ‘intraspecific variational’ female are both sexes of a new species different from this species in markings of vertex, pronotum, male 10th abdominal tergite, male cerci, titillator and female subgenital plate.
