Figure 30 View FIGURE 30 A–C.
Material examined: Two carapaces from QH1, two carapaces ( ECNU 20170418/HN3–34–35) stored.
Dimension: LV, n = 2, length 0.487 –0.738 mm; RV, n = 1, length 0.759 mm, height 0.446 mm.
Description: RV overlapping LV both anteriorly and posteriorly ( Fig. 30A View FIGURE 30 ). Anterior margin more rounded than posterior ( Fig. 30B View FIGURE 30 ). One large spine present on postero-ventral area of each valve ( Fig. 30C View FIGURE 30 ). Spines on both valves symmetrical. Surface of anterior and posterior part of carapace slightly pitted ( Fig. 30A View FIGURE 30 ).
Distribution: This species was found in Qionghai on Hainan Island.
Remarks: Only two empty carapaces were found of this species. The calcified inner lamella is narrow ( Fig. 30B View FIGURE 30 ), suggesting that the specimens are probably juveniles.
