Diagnosis. The species differs from the other congeners in the following characters:

- the reticulated pattern is expressed throughout all the forewing;

- the dark area on the forewing at its base is poorly expressed;

- the black discal spot on the fore wing is small;

- on the saccular margin of the valve (in the middle third) a trapezoidal process with a wide base.

Distribution. Mexico, Belize, Guatemala ( Schoorl 1990).
