Recognition. Elytra with subapical area and distal 1/3 of interval 1 testaceous; interval 9, and inner intervals subapically, densely pubescent with moderately long setae. Elytra with seriate punctures subfoveate to foveate. Metatarsi short, not more than 2/3 the length of metatibiae, tarsomeres often stout, dorsally with conspicuous setae. Dimorphism + ♂ 1 — ♀ 2 or + ♂ 2 — ♀ 2. Endophallus unarmed.
