COMMENTS: No type was designated in the original description nor was the number of specimens examined given, although measurements were published for more than one of each sex. Hartert (1920: 436) listed the type as specimen no. 2704, thus designating it the lectotype. Paralectotypes in AMNH, all collected on Nggela Sula, are: AMNH 700654 About AMNH (Meek no. 2706), male, 28 December 1900 ; AMNH 700655 About AMNH (2719), male, 31 December 1900 ; AMNH 700656 About AMNH (2715), male, 29 December 1900 ; AMNH 700657 About AMNH (2737), male, 22 January 1901 ; AMNH 700660 About AMNH (2705), female, 28 December 1900 .
