COMMENTS: Rothschild and Hartert cited the unique field number of the holotype in the original description and listed their type series, including Meek field numbers. Paratypes are: head of Aroa River, AMNH 696594 About AMNH (Meek no. A.2255), 28 May 1905, AMNH 696595 About AMNH (A.2214), 23 May 1905, males ; Bihagi , head of Mambare River, AMNH 696597 About AMNH (A.2595), male, AMNH 696598 About AMNH (A.2591), female, AMNH 696599 About AMNH (A.2593), sex?, but published as male, all three collected on 11 March 1906 .
