1. Neocurtilla hexadactyla (Perty, 1832) Syntype of Gryllotalpa longipennis Scudder, 1862 ♀ ( Fig.9 View FIGURE 9 )
Label data: Gryllotalpa borealis Burm brevipennis Serv. Md unique ♀; Type 8910 (on red); S.H. Scudder Coll; Gryllotalpa longipernnis Scudder. Conservation status: Poor condition. Specimen glued on the pin; antennae missing; pronotum with a hole (dorsal view), cracked (in lateral view); pronotum and abdomen glued together; left middle leg missing; tegmina and wings damaged; remnants of fungi on the specimen. Specimen locality: Uncertain, either Massachusets (Hebard collection) or Maryland (Uhler), probably this is the specimen from Hebard’s collection. Additional notes: primary homonym of Gryllotalpa longipenns Haan and junior synonym of G. hexadactyla ; Gryllotalpa borealis Burmeister, 1838 ; Gryllotalpa brevipennis . Mentions of the specimen in literature: Scudder (1862).
