Material examined. Mississippi. Tishomingo Co., Rock Quarry Creek, Tishomingo State Park , 10 February 1979, B. Stark, P. Lago, P. Hartfield, C. Cooper, 2 ♂ .
Remarks. These two specimens, recorded by Stark (1979), have a very slight, rounded femoral process, similar to that shown in Stewart (2000) and quite unlike the spine found on T. maura at other localities in the state. Ricker & Ross (1968) report the species from several sites in Alabama and Tennessee. No new records are available, and T. burksi is known only from Tishomingo Co. ( Fig. 2 View Fig ).
