Distribution in Iran. Golestan ( Bonvouloir, 1875, as A. latreillei LeConte, 1852 ; Lucht, 1990; Kovalev, 2019).
General distribution. Algeria, Croatia, France, Greece, Iran, Italy, Libya, Morocco, Spain, Tunisia, Turkey, Turkmenistan ( Muona 2007), Canary Islands (Tenerife) ( Cobos 1965), Uzbekistan ( Kovalev 2019), Montenegro ( Németh 2023).
Remark. All citations of A. drurii Kirby, 1819 ( A. druryi auct.) from “ Persia ” ( Bedel 1904; Jakobson 1913; Winkler 1925; Schenkling 1928; Cobos 1959) appear to be based on the Bonvouloir's record of A. latreillei from Astrabad (currently Gorgan).
