DISTRIBUTION. — China (Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan), Laos and Vietnam ( Fig. 12 View FIG ).

ECOLOGY OR HABITAT. — In primary forest, frequently along river,

on sandy soil. CONSERVATION STATUS. — IUCN Global Status: Data Deficient

( DD); IUCN Regional (Indochina) Status: Data Deficient ( DD). PHENOLOGY. — Flowering: June-November. Fruiting: September.

VERNACULAR NAME. — Tram vo dich ( Vietnam)

DESCRIPTION

Shrub to 3 m tall. Glabrous.
