Trichiscus suzannae Benoît, 1986: 294 (key), 295 (description), 296 ( Figs 3-4 ); Gordh & Móczár, 1990: 266 (catalog).

Description. MALE. Length 2.5 mm. Head and mesosoma almost black, metasoma dark castaneous; wings subhyaline. Clypeus with median lobe concave (bidentate), apical margin thick in frontal view, medially with wide trapezoidal polished area; median carina absent. Frons coriaceous, punctures small, shallow and inconspicuous. Frons with anterior median small callus. Vertex slightly convex. Notaulus present on anterior half of mesoscutum. Propodeal disc rugose. Hypopygium ( Fig. 10 ) with posterior margin with short and concave emargination. Genitalia ( Figs 23–25 ). Basal parameral expansion ill-defined, virtually absent. Aedeagal ventral ramus with apex laminar, surface vertical, apex spine-shaped. Aedeagal dorsal body with three pairs of apical lobes, outer pair laminar, apex sharpened slightly curved ventrad in lateral view, ventral margin with subrectangular expansion; ventral pair laminar, apex rounded in lateral view; inner pair membranous, hairy.

FEMALE unknown.

Material examined. Holotype ♂: Congo Belge: P.N.A. [=Parc National Albert], Kanyabayongo (Kabasha), 1760 m., 7-xii-1934, G.F. de Witte: 878 ( MRAC). New material: UGANDA, Entebe, Lake Victoria, XI.1971, M. Falke ( PMAE).

Remarks. This species was known only from the holotype. Now it is recorded for the first from Uganda in a place about 340 km far from type locality.
