Lechytiidae is a small family with 24 species in one genus. Only one species, Lechytia chthoniformis (Balzan, 1888) , was found, on Passalus interstitialis and Verres furcilabris (Aguiar and Bürnheim 2011) ( Tables 2 View Table 2 , 4, 14).
