TYPE LOCALITY: Malaysia, Sarawak, Baram River .

DISTRIBUTION: Sarawak (Borneo).

COMMENT: Probably conspecific with brachyurus ; it is only known from the type specimen, which was slightly smaller and more reddish-brown than most brachyurus (WCW) .
