Type species. Scytachile emeljanovi sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Precostal carina narrow and deflected dorsad distally; C distinctly elbowed near base. Basal cell much narrowed apically, CuA elbowed at apex of basal cell and arched backwards beyond. M stem nearly equidistant between RP and CuA 1. Nodal mcu short, joining MP and CuA 1 elbowed towards each other. Space between CuA 1 and CuA 2 narrowed at nodal level to more than half its maximum width. 1 A less than twice as close to scutellar angle as to Pcu.

Etymology. From Greek skytos (hide, skin) and generic name Achilus ; gender feminine.
