Paraphaenocladius impensus ( Walker, 1856) View in CoL : 3 ( Chironomus View in CoL ).
Paratrissocladius ogasaduodecimus Sasa et Suzuki, 1997: 334 View in CoL . syn. n.
Bryophaenocladius ogasaduodecimus: Yamamoto, 2004: 10 ; Yamamoto & Yamamoto, 2014: 255.
Specimen examined: Japan: Tokyo Metropolitan, Bonin Isles, Chichijima Isl. , holotype ♂ of Paratrissocladius ogasaduodecimus View in CoL , 14. viii. 1996, H. Suzuki [specimen No. 307:37 (NSMT-I-Dip 5038)] .
Sasa and Suzuki (l997) describe that the wing of Paratrissocladius ogasaduodecimus is bare. However, we found the holotype as having the wings covered with macrotrichia on their entire surfaces. The costa is ending proximal of M 3+4. Hypopygial features are well consistent with those of Paraphaenocladius impensus .
