Distribution. Bangladesh ( Hodkinson 1986); India: Bihar ( Crawford 1912; Mathur 1975), Tamil Nadu ( Mani 1948; Mathur 1975), Uttarakhand ( Mathur 1975), West Bengal ( Mani 1948; Mathur 1975).

Host plant. Mallotus nudiflorus (Euphorbiaceae) . The record of Gmelina arborea ( Lamiaceae ) by Crawford (1912) is an unlikely host of Trioza fletcheri and needs verification.
