Comments. According to Ježek & Van Harten (1996), the antenna of this species presents a hard, bulbous portion between the last two segments which should not be regarded as a segment. We disagree with this view and propose that this structure should be regarded as a separate vestigial segment, as indicated by the presence of a spine. This is the type species of the subgenus Falsologima .
This is the first record to this species to Paraná.
