Liquorilactobacillus uvarum (u.va ′ rum. L. gen. pl. n. uvarum of grapes).
Basonym: Lactobacillus uvarum Mañes-Laetal . 2008, 2129 VL
L. uvarum cells are motile rods; they growat pH 4.5 and 8 but not at pH 3.3. They produce exopolysaccharide from sucrose [ 207]. The genome size of the type strain is 2.69 Mbp. The mol% G+C content of DNAis 36.9.
Isolated from from Bobal grape musts.
