Eilema cocciniceps (Mabille, 1884) , comb. n.

Lithosia cocciniceps Mabille, 1884 , Annales de la Société entomologique de Belgique, 28: clxxxix [189] (Type locality: “ Madagascar ”) .

Note. The species was transferred to Paraona by Hampson (1900), who also illustrated it in colour ( Hampson 1900: pl. 24, fig. 10). The type is lost ( Viette & Fletcher 1968), and this species is herein tentatively transferred from Paraona to Eilema until additional material matching Hampson’s illustration is studied.
