Distributed in the desert and semi-desert territories of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, northwestern Iran ( Golub, 2006). First record for China.
Material examined. 1 3 3 Ƥ, Mulei, 28.VII.1987 (Wang M); 3 3 3 Ƥ, Chanqi Pongwugong, 31.V.1989 (Wang M); 3 3 2 Ƥ, Fukag desert, 26.VI.2006 (Luo ZH); 3 3 3 Ƥ, Tianchi Bai yuang gou, 10.VII.2005 (Luo ZH); 1 3 3 Ƥ, Fukang, 11.VII.2005 (Bai X.); 1 Ƥ, Tacheng Yumin, 21.VII.2007 (Luo ZH); 1 3, Daqinggeli R., 20 km N of Qinghe (46°52'N; 90°20'E), 1400–1600 m, 27.VI.2011 (N. Vinokurov).
Our specimen from Mongolian Altai (Daqinggeli R., 20 km N of Qinghe) collected on stony slopes under small larch forest ( Larix sibirica ).
