Diagnosis. This species is easily separated from other members of the fulvicorne - fratellum group occurring in eastern Asia by a combination of the following character states: male clypeus with a yellow spot on lower half; mesoscutum with coarse reticulate PP on anterior half in both sexes; metapostnotum short, nearly as log as metanotum in both sexes; and the disc of T1 with distinct dense fine PP in both sexes.

Distribution. North Korea, South Korea, Russian Far East, China, Japan.

Flight period in South Korea. Female: April to July. Male: September.

Flower records in South Korea. This species has been recorded visiting the following at least seven plant species in five families: Brassicaceae : Brassica spp.; Capsella sp. Papareraceae: Chelidonium sp. Rosaceae : Armeniaca sp.; Potentilla sp. Salicaceae : Salix sp. Staphyleaceae : Staphylea sp.
