Previous records. “Caucasus Minor” ( Samedov et al. 1976; Bababekova 1996); Lenkaran district: [24] (as C. flavidus escherichii, Samedov et al. 1976 ; Bababekova 1996; Dyachkov et al. 2023).

Distribution. Mostly the Eastern Mediterranean Region ( Bonato et al. 2011; Simaiakis et al. 2013).

Remarks. This species was originally described by Verhoeff (1896) as Geophilus flavidus escherichii . Now it is regarded as a distinct species ( Bonato et al. 2011).
