World distribution: China [not India] ( Martins et al. 2022; Oswald 2023).
Note: Recent revisionary and monographic work on the genus Neochauliodes (e.g., Liu et al. 2010a) has restricted the distribution of this species to China. Previous records from India, for example, from Sikkim and West Bengal ( Navás 1930c: 427; Chandra & Sharma 2010: 3) are considered to be misidentifications and the species is excluded here from the Indian fauna.
