Material examined. China: Yunnan Province, Dali City, Zhonghelin, 22.v.1996, 1 male, light trap, B.X. Wang; Sichuan Province, Xiangcheng County, Shuoquhe River, 12.vi.1996, 3 males, light trap, X.H. Wang.
Remarks. The species is described in detail by Fittkau (1962). The presently examined specimens have the abdominal tergite VI totally brown and differ from European specimens having the tergite VI with a broad strip. The Chinese specimens have slightly higher LR1 0.83–0.88, 0.87 (n = 4), LR2 0.61–0.65, 0.63 (n = 4), LR3 0.74–0.77, 0.75(n = 3) than the European specimens (LR1 0.80, LR2 0.59, LR3 0.73).
This species was recorded in Palaearctic region ( Meigen 1818, Fittkau 1962). The present paper records the species from Oriental of China.
