TL: Ceylon [= Sri Lanka], Kandy/Puttalam.
Distribution: India (Meghalaya); Sri Lanka (Meyrick 1918).
Host: Manilkara achras (Sapotaceae) is the host of this species, which is known as the sapota seed borer. Its biology in India has been studied by Shukla (2009) and Jayanthi & Verghese (2010).
