117. Aponotohymena australis (Foissner and O´Donoghue, 1990) [ Kwon and Shin, 2010]: Freshwater (0.0-0.001 psu). The Korean population was originally reported as Notohymena australis . Foissner (2016) transferred N. australis to new genus Aponotohymena as type species.
