Records from Turkey: Erzurum Province ( Oezkan & Bader 1988). Remarks: Dacothyas savulescui Motas, 1959 ( Romania) differs in the third dorsomedial plate as wide as long vs. wider than long in D. kandilliensis .
Habitat: Springs, small streams.
Distribution: Turkey.
