Exoprosopa tabanoides-schmidti i series

The species included in this series have long, more evenly infuscated wings and are characteristic of forest margins near the eastern African coast although E. tabanoides is found inland in Zambia and Katanga. E. linearis has been included although it diOEers from the others in being found in more arid habitats on the Eritrean coast and wetter parts of Arabia. It is also smaller and the wings are relatively shorter like those of the E. W ssicornis-erronea series and is probably not closely related to the other species.
