Type material. Holotype, illustrated in A.A. Ali-Zade (1969: pl. 46, fig. 10), SL: 8.5 mm, MD: 5.1 mm, Earth Science Museum at Moscow State University ( The Museum of Natural History ).
Type locality. Palantekyan Mountain Ridge ( Azerbaijan) .
Stratigraphy. Late Pliocene/Pleistocene, Akchagylian.
Discussion. The only available specimen is a spire fragment showing prominent beads on the adsutural spiral cords and a narrow central spiral cord. It is close to the eldaricus -morph of Potamides caspius .
Eastern Paratethys. Akchagylian (Late Pliocene/Pleistocene): Caspian Basin: Palantekyan Mountain Ridge ( Azerbaijan) (A.A. Ali-Zade 1969).
