Geographical distribution: Brazil and Argentina.
Comments: De Carlo (1951) recorded the species from “Cachoeira, Brasil ”. Cachoeira means waterfall in Portuguese, and with only this information it is not possible to precise where the specimens examined by De Carlo were collected.
