Gelastocoris monrosi De Carlo, 1959 View in CoL
Geographical distribution: Brazil.
Distribution in Brazil: Central-West, Southeast, and South regions (MS, SP, SC) ( De Carlo 1959; Estévez & López-Ruf 2006).
Comments: The record from MS is derived from the citation of “Rio Caraguatá, Brasil.” As explained for other species, this area nowadays belongs to MS, not MT. This species was considered a synonym of G. nebulosus [= G. flavus flavus] by Todd (1961), but is not listed under G. flavus flavus by Nieser (1975). Schnack & Estévez (1979) and Estévez and López-Ruf (2006) also consider G. monrosi a valid and distinct species.
