Agyrta grandimacula Zerny, 1931b: 21 (Taf. 1, fig. 28). Holotype female [by monotypy]: ECUADOR (don. Study); with two handwritten labels “Study don 1922, Ecuador ” and “ Agyrta grandimacula Zerny ♀ type ”.
Current combination. Agyrta grandimacula Zerny, 1931 .
Condition of the type. Wings worn, with slight damage to the internal margin of the left hindwing.
Remarks. Given the similarity in habitus to Phalaena micilia Cramer, 1779 , type species of Agyrta Hübner , [1820], (designated by Watson et al. 1980), this species is probably correctly assigned to this genus.
