Supplementary description. Male. Antennae ( Fig. 14 View FIGURES 9 – 19 ) extending to middle of elytra, antennomeres II slightly longer than wide at apex, III −XI flattened, III −IX slightly widened apically, long-triangular, V −X each with a narrow, smooth and short longitudinal groove at apical part of outer margin, X −XI nearly parallel-sided, XI slightly longer than X and acute at apex.
Female. Similar to males, but differs in the following characters: eyes less protruding, antennae ( Fig. 15 View FIGURES 9 – 19 ) narrower and shorter, antennomeres V −X without grooves; pronotum wider, disc slightly convex; legs with all tarsal claws simple; abdominal sternite VIII ( Fig. 32 View FIGURES 29 – 34 ) with a middle and two lateral emarginations at posterior margin, the middle emargination rounded and slightly shallower than lateral ones, the portion of posterior margin between middle and lateral emarginations rounded at apex respectively.
Body length: 8.7−10.0 mm; width: 2.0− 2.2 mm.
Distribution. China (new record: Yunnan); Laos.
Remarks. This species was described on a single male specimen, whose antennae were destroyed, in the original publication ( Švihla, 2005). In the study, some additional specimens including both sexes at our disposal allow us to make a supplementary description for this species.
