19. Crotalaria kostermansii Niyomdham (1978: 136) View in CoL . Type:— THAILAND. Kanchanaburi: Khwae Noi River Basin, 10 km of King Saiyok , 14 July 1946, Kostermans 1118 (holotype L0018845 !, isotype P02755973 !).
Herb, erect, 0.8–1 m high; young branches terete, brown pubescent. Leaves simple. Stipules minute, caducous. Petioles 1–2 mm long, brown pubescent. Lamina oblanceolate or oblong, 2–9.7 × 0.5–2.3 cm, base obtuse or cuneate, apex rounded or obtuse, margin entire, both surfaces brown pubescent; lateral veins inconspicuous. Inflorescences terminal, open racemes, 10–24 cm long; peduncle 8–22 mm long, brown pubescent. Bracts narrowly linear, 2–3 mm long, persistent. Pedicels 2–3 mm long, brown pubescent. Bracteoles inserted on the calyx tube, narrowly linear, 5–6 mm long, persistent. Calyx 8–12 mm long, campanulate, bilabiate; tube 1–3 mm long; lobes triangular, 7–9 mm long, glabrous inside, brown pubescent outside. Corolla yellow. Standard: claw ca. 1 mm long, glabrous, margin white tomentose; blade broadly elliptic, 14–15 × 12–13 mm, base truncate, apex obtuse or emarginate, margin glabrous. Wings: claw 1–2 mm long, glabrous; blade lanceolate, 10–12 × 3.5–4 mm, base oblique with white pubescence, apex obtuse, margin glabrous. Keel: claw 1–1.5 mm long, glabrous, margin white tomentose; blade lanceolate, 14–15 × 5–6 mm, beak spirally twisted, base cuneate, apex attenuate, margin white tomentose. Stamens: filaments fused for proximal 2.5–3 mm, free for distal 4–8 mm; anthers either narrowly linear, 2–3 mm long or oblong, 0.8–1 mm long. Ovary sessile, oblong, 5.5–6 mm long, glabrous; style 11–12 mm long, adaxially white pubescent in a single line along the distal edge, abaxially glabrous. Pods and Seeds not seen.

Notes: — Crotalaria kostermansii is characterized by its large herbaceous habit, terminal inflorescences, short pedicel, broadly elliptic standard, the apex of its standard is emarginate or obtuse and the ovary and pods are sessile.
