Herb, erect, 0.5–1.5 m high; young branches terete, brown pubescent. Leaves simple. Stipules narrowly linear, 0.5–1 mm long, caducous. Petioles 2–5 mm long, pubescent. Lamina obovate, oblanceolate or ovate, 1.5–11 × 0.5–3.7 cm, base cuneate, apex acute, margin entire, both surfaces brown puberulous; lateral veins 5–9 pairs. Inflorescences terminal open racemes up to 20 cm long or axillary with 1–2 flowers and 3 cm long; peduncle 1–2 cm long, brown pubescent. Bracts narrowly linear, 1.5–4.5 mm long, persistent. Pedicels 4–5 mm long, brown pubescent. Bracteoles inserted distally on the pedicel, narrowly linear, 2–3 mm long, persistent. Calyx View in CoL 1–1.3 cm long, campanulate, bilabiate; tube 2–3 mm long; lobes triangular, 8–10 mm long, glabrous inside, brown pubescent outside. Corolla View in CoL yellow. Standard: claw 2–2.2 mm long, glabrous, margin white tomentose; blade elliptic, 9–10 × 7–8 mm, base truncate, apex obtuse or acuminate, margin glabrous. Wings: claw 1.5–2 mm long, glabrous; blade oblong, 7–8 × 2.5–3 mm, base oblique, apex obtuse, margin glabrous. Keel: claw 1.5–2 mm long, glabrous; blade ovate, 9–10 × 4–5.5 mm, beak spirally twisted, base cuneate, apex attenuate, margin white tomentose. Stamens: filaments fused for proximal 3–3.5 mm, free for distal 3–5 mm; anthers either narrowly linear, 1.5–1.8 mm long or elliptic, 0.5–0.8 mm long. Ovary sessile, oblong, 3–3.5 mm long, glabrous; style 9–10 mm long, adaxially white pubescent in a single line along the distal edge, abaxially glabrous. Pods sessile, oblong, 1.8–2 × 0.4–0.5 cm, brown, glabrous. Seeds reniform, 2–2.5 × 1.8–2 mm, brown-black.
