Ecology: —Sunny places in deciduous dipterocarp forests, elevation 6–1960 m.

Notes: — Crotalaria albida is distinct from other species of the genus in SE Asia by the terminal inflorescences, the longer pedicels, the apex of the standard which is pubescent and the stipitate ovary and pods. Craib (1911) described C. hossei based on two collections viz. Hosseus 59 ( BM!, K!) and Kerr 839 ( BM!, K!). Hosseus 59 ( K!) is well preserved, therefore, designated here as the lectotype .
