In the CDO ( HACKMAN 1977) six species of Suillia and two species of Tephrochlamys (under Heteromyzidae ) were listed from the Oriental region, and there was no heleomyzid record from Thailand. OKADOME (1985 b, p. 221) described Suillia thaiensis from Doi Suthep , Chiang Mai ( Thailand). We do not know of any more heleomyzid record from the country and we did not capture any heleomyzid specimens.
