Type species— Cleodoxus lineaticollis Gounelle, 1910 (original designation).
Diagnosis. Tubercles of the prothorax placed centrally, the sides subparallel before and after the tubercle; elytra with lateral and dorsal carinae; centrobasal elytral crest with long erect setae on top; basal metatarsomere as long as the next two together. Number of species currently included: 1.
Remark. According to the original description, the length of the lower eye lobes is subequal to the length of the genae. However, they are distinctly shorter than genae when considering the inner margin, and slightly shorter than genae when considering the area close to the connection between eye lobes.
