Type species — Microplia agilis Audinet-Serville, 1835 (monotypy).

Diagnosis. Lower ocular lobe shorter than genae; metatibiae flattened and densely setose; scape pedunculateclavate; prothorax longer than wide; pronotum without tubercles; metatibiae flattened, entire surface densely setose. Number of species currently included: 2.
