Note:—In 1827, only Fl. Napol. 3(1–4) (1824) were published ( Schönberg 1827). The publication dates of Fl. Napol. 3(5–10) are based on the analysis of the works cited by Tenore himself inside the volume. Ornithogalum gussonei Ten. is a replacement name for Ornithogalum tenuifolium Guss. , non Redouté, Liliac. [Redouté] 6(52): pl. 312. 1811., nom. illeg. According to Arts. 60.8 & 60.9 of the ICN, the spelling of the specific epithet originally published as “ Gussonii ” is to be corrected in “ gussonei ”.
