Type specimens. Male holotype and one male and two female paratypes ( MCZ) collected by M. G. Childs in January 1914 in Sacramento , Sacramento County, California .
Diagnosis Tibiotarsus expanding distad, apically broad and spatulate ( Shear 1972, figs. 45).
Ecology. The types were collected from debris in a hollow apple tree.
Distribution. Known only from the type locality.
