Description
Shell biconical, thick with axial ribs crossed by spiral grooves creating rows of granules. White with spiral, thin dark bands. Aperture white with denticles on the outer lip.
Type locality
‘‘Indo O, Pacifique’’, Indian Ocean, Pacific.
Distribution
Indo-Pacific, South China Sea. Occurs under stable boulders and feeds on serpulid polychaetes ( Tan and Morton 1998).
